How It All Started
I was tired of the typical gym scene - folks wandering around without direction, trainers who didn't really care, equipment that collected more dust than sweat. Started training people out of a garage in East Van because I knew there had to be a better way.
Word spread fast. What started as me and five people crushing WODs in cramped quarters turned into 30+ athletes showing up daily. We outgrew that space quick - my neighbors weren't exactly thrilled with the 6am barbell drops either.
Opened our first legit spot on West 4th. 4,000 square feet of pure training space. Brought on Sarah and Marcus - two coaches who get it. We're not here to babysit, we're here to push limits and watch people surprise themselves with what they're capable of.
Expanded the coaching team to eight certified trainers. Added specialized programs for athletes and folks rehabbing injuries. Our community grew to over 300 members - people from all walks of life coming together to do hard things.
We've become Vancouver's go-to spot for people who want real results without the fluff. No gimmicks, no shortcuts - just intelligent programming, solid coaching, and a crew that shows up ready to work. Every single day, we're proving that strength isn't just physical, it's mental too.
